This is a working record of documented encounters spanning 1878 to 1997 — cases with named witnesses, dated events, and, where it exists, some form of independent corroboration: physical evidence, official investigation, contemporaneous documentation, or a second witness.
Every entry here carries a different evidentiary weight. None of them, by themselves, prove what any witness believed happened. The record exists so you can weigh that for yourself.
What's below is a summary, not the full examination. A handful of these cases are explored in real depth in What Is the Sky Telling Us?, and are marked accordingly.
Sky Watch Group organizes evidence, not just collects it. Every case in the full archive is weighed against a six-level framework, from instrumented, corroborated data down to claims with no verifiable origin at all. Most of the cases below sit at Levels 2 and 3 — independent witnesses and credible single accounts — the tier where most of the historical record actually lives. A few, included for completeness rather than strength, sit considerably lower, and are labeled honestly as such.
A farmer's account of a fast-moving, size-shifting object, published in the Denison Daily News — a genuine period document, sixty-nine years before "flying saucer" entered the public vocabulary. A single, uncorroborated witness with no physical evidence behind it, but a real newspaper record, not a story reconstructed decades later.

A group investigating a bright object believed to have crashed on a nearby hillside instead encountered a tall, glowing-eyed figure. Seven witnesses, contemporary local press coverage, and a national television appearance days later.
Two families reported a night-long "siege" by small beings at their farmhouse. More than twenty law officers responded and documented bullet holes consistent with the family's account.
